While this is largely down to personal preference, sticking to a 16:9 aspect ratio will allow you to see more from the periphery.
In the competitive circuit, many players swear by a stretched 4:3 aspect ratio, claiming that it helps focus your attention on the important middle part of your screen. If you can run it at max settings and maintain a high FPS, there’s no downside, but it’s better to prioritise frame rate over visual quality as much as possible. Turning up your brightness, enough so that you can spot enemies in dark corners, is another essential tweak. “Wait for Vertical Sync” should also be turned off, as it can cause input lag, and locks fps to your refresh rate. It adds little and makes enemies harder to spot while you’re moving. As with any competitive game (and arguably any other game as well), make sure to turn off motion blur. Most of the graphical tweaks that you’ll need to do will optimise competitive play rather than performance. CSGO FPS BoostĮven for a game released in 2012, CS:GO is fairly light on the system. The latest operation in CS:GO includes new gameplay statistics, new agents and stickers, and a new case. There is a CS GO Steam release, the game is exclusive to Steam. The minimum requirements are very low, if you just want to jump in and play, pretty much any modern PC or laptop will have no problem running the game. In terms of CS GO size, you'll want at least 15GB storage space free. The CS GO PC requirements state you only need 2 GB of RAM, but we would recommend 8, especially if you have background applications such as Discord open. 
Provided that you have at least an NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT graphics card you can play the game, but we recommend having a GPU similar to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050. An Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 CPU is required at a minimum to play Counter Strike Global Offensive, but we'd recommend an AMD Ryzen 3 2200G or better. The CS GO system requirements given by valve only include the minimum requirements for CS GO, however here we recommend the specs you'll want to run the game at 1080p at 60fps or 144Hz.
